As I was standing in line today at my local 7-11, cursing myself for buying a pack of cigarettes, I couldn't help but look around the other people waiting in line for their addictions. A guy with a 12 pack of beer, an extremely overweight man purchasing various Hostess products; along with taquitos and some meat item of the month in one of those warm turntables.
Are we slaves to our addictions? Is this a contradiction of terms?
As I pulled away in my car, lighting up my smoke, I couldn't help but notice the overweight man, shove "the meat item" down that thick gullett of his!
I gave him the proverbial "high five"!
